2 blogs in one day...........

greetings from somewhere in the middle of Panama city............ no idea where we are coz it was dark when we got here, but its working out well so far. Have landed in a hostel - private room incl breakie and free Internet for just $17 between us! Loving this coutry so far, as just went up the road for dinner, consisting of a 10 Oz New York Steak, with chips and salad for just $6 - who ever said Backpacking is about roughing it! Well will finish up with a "you know youve left Cuba when....." section 1).........their are lots of different colored lights on streets 2).........u can buy a Newspaper from outside the country and watch foreign TV 3).........theres loads of Mac Donalds and other great US Institutions around 4).........shops are allowed to have signs outside saying what they actually sell 5).........people dont come up to u flogging damn cigars 6).........roadside billboards dont just talk about Che, Fidel, Bush and the Revolution 7).........people dont come up to u selling dinners or rooms in their house 8).........people dont come up to u looking for the clothes off ur back 9).........cars arent from the 50s and finally 10).......u can flush the toilet paper down the toilet

all the above may seem "normal", not in Cuba though!!!!!
